Fire Marshall Training

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 states (Section 2(2)(c)) that every employer must provide its employees with information, instruction, training and supervision necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, their health and safety at work.

Who Should Attend?

The course is suitable for anyone who has been nominated as a Fire Safety Officer at Work or even to gain a greater knowledge of Fire Safety within the Workplace.

What Will They Learn?

The Fire Marshal/Warden is a very responsible role in managing Fire Safety at work this course will give delegates the knowledge and training to act as a Fire Marshal in commercial premises. As with all our courses we can design the training to suit your requirements.

1 Day (6 hours)

  • Actions on Discovering a Fire
  • Evacuation
  • Liaising with the Fire Service
  • Fire Prevention
  • Human Behaviour
  • Roles of the Fire Warden
  • Practical use of Fire Extinguisher/Blankets on Controlled Fire.

Certificate Validity:

Upon successful completion certification is valid for 12 Months. All participants will obtain a NDA Health and Safety Certificate.

Assessment and Certification:

Practical Skills Test (which is risk assessed)
