Level 2 Award in Manual Handling Risk Assessment (QCF)

The Level 2 Award in Manual Handling Risk Assessment has been designed to meet the needs of Learners who are responsible for creating a risk aware environment. This qualification combines both Manual Handling principles and the basis of Risk Assessment.

The course is aimed at a variety of candidates working in all sectors including hotels, restaurants, care homes, bars, construction, cafes, Doctors Surgeries, kitchens, hospitals, schools and colleges.

Course Duration:

The minimum contact Hours of this qualification, excluding breaks, should be for a minimum period of 12 Hours with one of our professional trainers.

Certification:

All successful candidates will receive a Nationally Recognised Level 2 Award in Manual Handling Risk Assessment which is valid for 3 years.

  • 3.1 Describe the stages involved in a Manual Handling risk assessment
  • 3.2 Outline the circumstances in which a Manual Handling risk assessment should be reviewed
